Earlier the exams were scheduled to take place on March 23. The change in schedule has been made on account of the elections in mandal and zilla parishad territorial constituencies in Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh Class 10 board exams have been rescheduled and will now commence on March 31. Earlier the exams were scheduled to take place on March 23. The change in schedule has been made on account of the elections in mandal and zilla parishad territorial constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. The election will take place in two phases. The first phase will take place on March 21 & 24. The municipal corporations and municipalities are slated to go to polls on March 27. On the website of the Andhra Pradesh Board, the modified time table has been made public. The exam will take place from March 31 to April 17.

Apart from this, the intermediate exam is also being conducted in Andhra Pradesh. The exam for Class 11 students will end on March 21 and the exam for the second year intermediate students will finish on March 23.

In a one-of-a-kind initiative, the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education will enable junior college admission by means of online mode. The students who are appearing for the Andhra Pradesh Class 10 board exams this year is going to be the first batch to be enrolled by means of online admission system. The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIE AP) has informed college management across the state that from 2020 academic session, admission to intermediate courses will be offered through Computerized Automated Student Online Intermediate Admission System.

The e-admission process will apply to all prevailing private aided, unaided (including co-operative), Incentive, APSWR, APTWR, APRJC, and Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Jurisdiction of the Board of Intermediate Education in Andhra Pradesh.
