The Assam boards have released the evaluation criteria 2021 for Classes 10, 12 today. The Assam HS, HSLC result 2021 will be declared by July 31.
The Assam boards have released the Assam HSLC, HS evaluation criteria today. According to it, the Assam HSLC or Class 10 students will be evaluated based on their performance in Class 9, which will formulate 40 per cent of marks. Similarly, another 40 per cent from Class 10 and the rest 20 marks from school-based internal assessment. In case of non-availability of Class 10 marks, 70 per cent of marks will be added from Class 9.
For Assam HS or Class 12 students, 50 per cent marks will be added from ‘best of 3’ from HSLC and 40 per cent from internal evaluation in non-practical subjects of Arts, Science and Commerce streams.
The Assam HSLC and ASHEC Result 2021 will be declared by July 31. The AHSEC and HSLC result will be prepared on the basis of this evaluation criteria to promote students to the next Class.
The committees formed for formulating the criteria had already submitted their reports last week. Earlier, the Assam Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, said, “The evaluation formula for SEBA and AHSEC’s HSLC-HSSLC will be officially announced in the evening via official notification. The evaluation formula for Class 12 is ready. Students will get not more than 10 per cent of their Class 10 results.”
The state government had cancelled the Assam Class 10, 12 examinations this year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
