Bihar Board 10th exams commence from today amid strict COVID-19 guidelines

BSEB matric examinations to be conducted from February 17 to 24, 2021.

The Bihar Board has commenced with its matric examinations from today, February 17. As per the released BSEB 10th Time Table 2021, the examinations will continue until Febryay 24, 2021. Amid the current scenario of COVID-19,  the exams are being held in strict adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs. The state board had issued specific exam day instructions and published them on the BSEB Class 10 admit cards issued to the students. Approximately 17 lakh students from more than 6000 schools affiliated to the board will be appearing for the BSEB Class 10 board examinations .

Students appearing for the BSEB Class 10 examinations are required to adhere to the following rules:

  • They have to carry their own sanitisers
  • Students are also required to wear face masks at all times including during the examination
  • They will be scrutinized and allowed to enter the examination centre until 10 minutes before the commencement of the examinations.
  • Students are also required to wear slippers inside the exam centre as closed shoes and socks are strictly prohibited

The exams venue will also have Section 144 imposed until the examinations. Unauthorized persons will also not be allowed inside the examination centre. Mobile phones are also strictly prohibited inside the exam hall except for the centre superintendents and mobile app operators who will be allowed to carry the mobile phones inside the exam centre.
