Bihar Board Extends Class 10, 10+2 Registration Deadline for 2026 Board Exams to October 20

Registration Now Open until October 20, 2025, from previous deadline of October 6, 2025, which was ending today.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended online registration deadline for Class 10 and Intermediate (10+2) Examination 2026, which was ending today, October 6, 2025.

With new extension, students and schools now have time until October 20, 2025, to complete their registration process with all the details by paying a late fee.

As per official tweets posted on X (formerly Twitter) by BSEB, the decision comes as a response to the ongoing process and to ensure all eligible students can participate. It states that the period for filling online registration/permission application with late fee is extended from October 6, 2025, to October 20, 2025.

“For students whose registration/permission applications were submitted by October 5, 2025, or will be filled between October 6, 2025, and October 20, 2025, a declaration form must be downloaded by the student, parent/father/mother/guardian, and the head of the educational institution. This form is to ensure the accuracy and verification of details. It must be uploaded mandatorily on the BSEB portal, with the submission process concluding by October 20, 2025.”

BSEB tweet states: “Essential information regarding the submission of registration/permission applications by uploading them mandatorily on the portal of the committee by the end of the period from 06.10.2025 to 20.10.2025)." The declaration forms are to be signed by students, their guardian, and school principal, to validate the registration data.

This extension follows a recent late registration window for the 2026 examinations, which closed on September 3, 2025, as reported earlier. The extension has been provided to allow students who faced technical or logistical challenges during earlier attempts.

Bihar Board has urged students and schools to complete the registration before deadline to avoid last-minute challenges.
