The BSE Odisha 10th Result is likely to be released on June 30 on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme.

BSE Odisha Result 2021: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha is likely to release Odisha 10th Result 2021 by June 30. However, it is a tentative date and the final Odisha 10th Result 2021 date will be notified later. The Odisha Matric Result 2021 will be prepared on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme since the exams were cancelled in view of the surge in COVID cases. Students would be able to check their results on the official website of BSE, bseodisha.ac.in or bseodisha.nic.in once released.

The Odisha HSC examinations were scheduled to be conducted from May 3 to May 15, 2021, while the practicals were scheduled to be conducted for Class 10 students from April 27, 2021, to May 2, 2021.

BSE Odisha 10th Assessment Scheme

The state board has released an alternative assessment scheme as per which:

  • Class 9 half-yearly, annual exam marks, and Class 10 practice test marks will be considered for the Odisha Matric Result 2021
  • For the Odisha Matric Result 2021, 40% weightage will be given to the marks obtained by the students in Class 9 exams and 60% weightage will be given to Class 10 practice tests. 
  • The Board will take into consideration the two highest marks in each subject from the three practice tests conducted in Class 10. School-wise merit list shall be prepared after giving appropriate weightage to marks secured and uploaded in the above examinations.
  • Two highest marks in all subjects out of three practice tests conducted in Class 10 will be given a weightage of 30% each. In case a candidate has not appeared in any of the practice tests of Class 10 examination, the Board has decided to award 100% weightage to the mark secured in the Class 9 examination (both half-yearly and annual) and subject-wise highest marks will be taken into consideration.
  • Similarly, if a candidate has appeared in only one practice test, then 70% weightage will be given in the mark secured in Class 9 examinations (half-yearly and annual).
  • Moreover, the BSE has decided to analyse results of the HSC examination of the last four years (2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020) of the schools, and based on the best performance of the school in the last four years, marks shall be allotted to each candidate in a graded manner
  • Madhyama exam results will also be published after analysing the performance of the students in Class 9 and 10 exams while the same method like HSC ex-regular will be followed for the Madhyama ex-regular students. The state board has set a tentative target to publish the result of all exams on June 30, 2021.
  • Students who are not satisfied with their marks will get an option to appear for the offline examination which might get conducted by the state board at a later stage
