BSE Odisha 10th exams: 15,151 students to write Matric exam in offline mode

The Odisha Class 10 examinations are scheduled to begin from July 30 in offline mode. The evaluation of the answer papers will begin on August 6.

Odisha Board will begin conducting the BSE Odisha Class 10 exams 2021 in offline mode from July 30. A minimum of 15,151 students have filled up application forms for appearing in this year’s Class 10 examination to be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha in the offline mode.

The offline Odisha Board 10^th exams are scheduled to begin from July 30, a BSE press release issued by the Board said, adding that the evaluation of the answer papers will begin from August 6.

Earlier, the state government had cancelled the Odisha matriculation examinations 2021 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the BSE Odisha 10^th Result 2021 was announced on June 25. Nearly 98 per cent of the students, who had filled up the forms, passed the examination in different grades based on an alternative method of assessment of the students as well as their school’s past performances.

Thereafter, the Board announced to hold the offline examinations for the discontented students giving just four weeks’ time for the students to prepare and write the examination physically at the examination centres.

The Board has also decided that the marks secured by the students in the offline examination will be final.
