CBSE 10th Science 2026 Exam Analysis: The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted Class 10 Science board exam today in single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students across India appeared for Science subject, which was divided into three parts Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It must be noted that CBSE 10th Science questions in theory paper were compulsory, including MCQs, short-answer questions, long-answer questions, numericals and case-based problems.

CBSE 10th Science exam 2026 had competency-based questions and application of concepts, with at least one case-based question from each section, as per students who appeared for exam. They also reported that certain areas of CBSE 10 Science required more analytical reasoning and time management. Some questions, particularly from physics numericals or biology diagrams.

As per initial student’s reaction, CBSE 10th Science paper was of moderate difficulty, similar to recent years, but with more emphasis on conceptual understanding and application rather than recall. CBSE class 10th Science paper was balanced but moderately challenging, especially in sections requiring deeper reasoning skills. Compared with Maths (which sparked mixed reactions earlier in CBSE 10th board cycle), Science paper was assessed for conceptual clarity across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
