CBSE 12th Board Exams 2021: Education Minister to review situation; here’s what you should know

The new CBSE 12th date sheet 2021 will be released after reviewing the situation on June 1. The board will issue the notice 15 days prior to the commencement of the examination.

In the wake of a surge in the COVID19 cases across the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) deferred the CBSE 12th board exams 2021. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said that the board will review the situation for holding exams on June 1, 2021, and will issue the notice 15 days prior to the commencement of the examination.

Earlier, the CBSE 12thexams 2021 were scheduled to be conducted from May 4 to June 14, 2021, in offline mode. The board examination was to be held in two shifts.

Along with the CBSE, CISCE and many other state boards had also postponed their 12th exams too.

Many CBSE schools around the country have started the application process for provisional admission to class 11. The admission of the students will be based on their marks in 10th exams. The board will release the criteria based on which the CBSE 10thresult will be prepared.

In the meantime, students preparing to appear for class 12th exams must download and practice the CBSE 12th sample papers. This will make them familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and the types of questions asked. They must also make notes of all the important points and get their doubts cleared.
