Days after the CBSE Class 12 Maths question paper went viral online after a QR code printed on it redirected users to a popular music video, YouTube India decided to share a must-watch video for students preparing for exams in form of a QR code. Many may have thought it is some motivational video; however, the QR code leads viewers straight to the song that gained views when it appeared in the CBSE class 12 Math board exam. The QR code shared by YouTube leads to Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up' song. Reacting to this tweet by YouTube India, students said, ‘No CBSE is harmed’.
Why is CBSE being Trolled?
The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the CBSE Class 12 Maths exam on March 9, 2026. However, for the first time ever, in a few question paper sets, the QR code printed on the front page of the question papers led students to a YouTube video. However, CBSE dismissed the claims that the security of the question paper was compromised.
CBSE Class 12 2026 Exam
CBSE Class 12 2026 exams are conducted from February 17. The exam will conclude on April 10. The timing of the exam is 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. This year, CBSE has introduced on screen marking system for the evaluation of Class 12 answer books. There will be no verification of marks after the declaration of the result. Approximately, 19 lakh students are appearing in the exam.
