In light of the upcoming computerized draw, the DoE has issued a strong warning against individuals or institutions that falsely claim to influence or guarantee admissions under the CWSN category. The public is advised to be cautious and refrain from engaging with such entities, as these claims are misleading and illegal.

The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, will conduct the first-ever computerized draw of lots for admission under the Children with Special Needs (CWSN) category in private unaided recognized schools for the academic session 2025-26. The draw is scheduled for March 19, 2025, at 2:30 pm at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Education, Old Secretariat, Delhi-110054.

Ensuring Fair and Transparent Admissions Process

The computerized draw aims to ensure a fair allocation of seats for students under the CWSN category. By utilizing technology, the process is designed to enhance transparency and eliminate any potential biases or human errors, providing a level playing field for all eligible candidates.

Automated Process to Prevent Manual Interference

As per the official circular from the Directorate of Education, the draw for admissions in private unaided recognized schools for entry-level classes, including nursery, KG, and Class 1, will be entirely automated. The system guarantees no manual interference at any stage, ensuring a fair and unbiased selection process.

Warning Against Fraudulent Admission Claims

In light of the upcoming computerized draw, the DoE has issued a strong warning against individuals or institutions that falsely claim to influence or guarantee admissions under the CWSN category. The public is advised to be cautious and refrain from engaging with such entities, as these claims are misleading and illegal.

Previous Draw for EWS and DG Categories

Earlier this month, on March 5, the first computerized draw of lots for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) categories in private schools took place, with 42,000 seats being allocated for entry-level classes. The same approach will now be followed for CWSN admissions, further ensuring transparency and fairness.

Further details regarding the admission procedure and the list of selected candidates will be released after the draw. Families and applicants are advised to stay updated through official channels for information on the next steps in the admission process.
