Goa Board Class 10 Students who failed board exams to be promoted to Class 11. The school heads will not declare the result of Class 11 of these students till they pass the Class 10 exams.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE), in an important announcement, has said that it has decided to promote students of Goa Board Class 10 who could not clear the board exams this year. The decision is to keep the terms in Class 11 for the current academic year.
In a circular issued to all Higher Secondary schools, the state board has asked them to admit all unsuccessful candidates, who failed in a maximum of two subjects in the April 2022 SSC Board examination, to be admitted to Class 11 and be given remedial teaching to bridge learning gaps.
“It is needless to mention that school heads shall not declare the result of Class XI of these students till they pass the Class X exam of the Board,” Secretary Geraldina Mendes said in the circular.

The Goa Board 10th Result 2022 Term 2 was released online on June 1 on the official website of the state board at gbshse.gov.in.The Goa Board SSC Result 2022 Term 2 could be checked online by students by using their seat number, school index number and date of birth. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 92.7%. The Goa Board Class 10 exams were cleared by 93.9% girls and 91.6% boys. 50% of Class 10 students scored between 60-80% in the Goa Class 10 exams 2022. 466 children with special needs cleared the exams.
