Haryana government declared summer break from July 1 to July 26 for the schools. The latest notice released by the government stated that the schools will reopen from July 27.   

Haryana schools to reopen from July 27. However, the high education institutes of the state will remain closed until July 1. The official notification released by the state reads, “The Directorate of School Education, Haryana, declared summer vacation for all schools in the state from July 1 to July 26, 2020. Schools in the state will re-open from Monday, July 27, 2020.”

Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal through his social media account said,“Schools in Haryana will observe July 1 to July 26 as summer vacation. Schools will re-open on July 27. This will also be applicable for teachers and administrative staff,”

Haryana Government previously cancelled the intermediate and final year exams in universities and colleges of the state In view of the COVID-19 pandemic

Haryana Board is yet to conduct HBSE 10th Board Exams for Science subject.  Haryana Class 10 final exam for Science was also cancelled and the board is expected to announce a date for the conduct of the exam soon. The science paper will be conducted only for the students who wish to study the Science stream in Class 11. Soon after the conduction of the Science exam, the board will release HBSE 10th results 2020

Meanwhile, in a memo sent to the heads of higher education institutions in the state, Principal Secretary to Haryana Higher Education Department directed that all educational institutions to remain closed till July 31. The memo asked the varsities and colleges to continue e-learning for the students.

Haryana government released these directions regarding schools and higher educational institutes of the state after the by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) released the unlock 2 guidelines on June 29, stating,  schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed until July 31.
