Haryana Board of Secondary Education has come forward with a unique way to help students seeking admission in Class 11 in the state's government schools. Read further to know more.
Haryana Board of Secondary Education (HBSE) has announced that the students who have passed their HBSE 10th board exam 2020 and are seeking admission in Class 11 in state's government schools can send their important documents to the school principals on WhatsApp. The HBSE Matric Results 2020 was released by the Board on July 10, 2020. This year, the Haryana Board 10th result 2020 were announced late due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, because of which HBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2020 were also postponed.
Students must note that they do not require to pay any fee currently. The announcement was made keeping in mind the coronavirus pandemic situation in the state and it is in the interest of the students, the Haryana Chief Minister's Office (CMO) tweeted.
"As per this initiative of the State Government in view of the safety of students, the students will get admission to class XI while staying at their homes," Haryana Education Minister, Kanwar Pal said.
The Education Minister also congratulated Class 10 students of Board of School Education Haryana for their good results. He also directed teachers to stay in touch with their students to help them in this process of getting admission in Class 11.
The overall pass percentage of HBSE 10th board exams 2020 this year is 64.59%. Rishita from Hisar topped the Haryana Board 10th Exams by securing 500 marks. The pass percentage of boys and girls is 69.86% and 60.27% respectively.
Haryana Board delayed the release of the HBSE 10th Results 2020 in order to conduct the pending Science exam. With the postponement of the HBSE 10th Board Exams 2020 due to COVID-19 lockdown, the exam of one of the most important subjects i.e. Science got delayed. Earlier, the Board decided to release the HBSE 10th results after the conduction of the Science exam until the Punjab and Haryana HC put a stay on the same. Now, the Board has released the Haryana Board 10th Resuls 2020 on the basis of the 4 Key Subjects only.
