The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is going to offer scholarships to Class 10, 12 meritorious students in the state. HP Board invites meritorious students to apply before the last date. The students can apply for the scholarship from February 22 to March 22, 2022, online mode on the official website of the board at hpbose.org.

The students who have appeared for the HPBOSE 2021 exams are eligible to apply for the HPBOSE scholarship. The scholarship will be provided based on HPBOSE 2021 exam results. Board will publish the name of candidates selected for the scholarship on the official website.

According to the notification released on the official website, the top 100 students from the Class 12 science group and 100 students from the arts and commerce group will be selected for the HP Board scholarship. Once prepared the merit list, students can check it at hpbose.org.

HP Board scholarship 2021-22: How to apply

Students can apply for the HP Board scholarship 2021-22 online on the official website. To apply for the scholarship, students need to get the bill form, acceptance form from the official website. Space below mentions how you can apply for the HP Board scholarship 2021:

• Visit the official website at hpbose.org and download the bill form and acceptance form
• Get the hard copies filled and signed by your head of the institution or Principal
• Logon to the official website and click on HP Board Scholarship 2021 link
• Upload scanned copies of all the required documents
• Click on submit button and then send the hard copies through the post to the HP Board

Merit list for HP Board April 2021 scholarship is now available on the official website. Students can find it under the students’ corner. In the HPBOSE provisional merit list, the board has included a total of 20,013 students of Class 12 and 30,115 students of Class 10. After receiving applications, HP Board will prepare the final merit list and publish it on the official website.

"The principles of the concerned institute will ensure that as per the rule barring the merit cum means scholarships, scholarships reserved for SC/ST/backward classes, all other examinees are to get scholarship from single department/ institute. For this, the concerned principal has to check all the documents before attesting to the student agreement letter/bill format. So, the scholarship is disbursed from a single department/institute. If the student had applied to any other department for any other scholarship apart from the board one, then, the detail of the same had to be shown in the hard copy. The attested photocopy of the students' bank account needs to be attached with the application so that the payment can be done," the official notice says.
