HPBOSE 12th Results 2020: Apply for re-evaluation on or before July 3

Students who were not satisfied with their HPBOSE 12^th Result 2020 can now apply for the re-evaluation through online mode. Read below to know how to apply.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced that the HP Board Class 12th students who wish to apply for re-evaluation can do so until July 3. The Board had declared the HP Board Class 12th Result 2020 on June 18, 2020, at 11.30 am.

This year, due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country followed by nationwide lockdown, the Class 12 Board exams for HPBOSE were severely affected. Because of the lockdown, the state government had cancelled several HPBOSE 12th Board Exams 2020. On June 8, the Board conducted the Class 12 Geography exam. Under this situation, the Himachal Pradesh government came up with an idea of announcing the HPBOSE 12^th Results 2020 for 4 subjects instead of 5 key subjects.

This year, a total of 86,633 candidates had appeared in the for the HPBOSE 12^th Board Exams 2020. Candidates can check the results through the websites- hpbose.org, hpresults.nic.in.

In a notification, the Board said: ” Students who wish to submit answer sheets for HP board result 2020 revaluation should apply online through www.hpbose.org. The candidate need to pay Rs 500 for HPBOSE 12th Re-evaluation 2020 and Rs 400 for HPBOSE 12th Rechecking 2020/ scrutiny on or before July 3. For applying for re-evaluation, students should have at least 20 per cent marks in the subject.”

HPBOSE Class 12 pass percentage saw an improvement from last year. The passing percentage this year was at 76.07 per cent compared to that of  62.01 per cent last year. This year, 65,654 students qualified for higher education out of the 86,633 who registered for the exams. Prakash Kumar from Kullu is the state topper with 99.40 per cent. Shubam Jaiswal (99.20 per cent) and Tanisha (99.00 per cent) have secured second and third ranks respectively. Abhinav Karmani and Ankush Sharma make up the top five with fourth and fifth ranks respectively.

How to apply for HP board result 2020 re-evaluation

In order to apply for re-evaluation, HPBOSE Class 12 students have to register themselves on the official website and pay the requisite fee.

Step 1: Visit the official website of HPBOSE i.e. hpbose.org

Step 2: Click on the link that reads ‘apply for re-evaluation’

Step 3: Enter roll, number and registration number.

Step 4: Log in with the system generated application number

Step 5: Choose the subjects to be re-evaluated

Step 6: Pay the requisite fee and submit an application
