HP Board is all set to announce HPBOSE 12th Results 2020 today. Students who appeared for the Class 12 board exams read further to know where and how to check 12th board results online. 

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is all set to announce the HP Board 12th Class Result 2020 today i.e. on June 16, 2020, for the Plus Two students in the state. Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by COVID-19 lockdown imposed in order to control the spread, the Class 12 Board exams for HPBOSE got severely impacted just like various other Board exams. This resulted in the cancellation of several HPBOSE12th Board Exams 2020 by the state government.

On these lines, the state government decided to come up with a new formula for HP Board 12th Result 2020. According to the latest reports, the HPBOSE Class 12 Results 2020 will be announced today by the Himachal Pradesh Board online on the official website i.e. hpbose.org.

HP Board 12th Results 2020 to be declared as per new Marking Formula

COVID-19 outbreak as well as lockdown affected several papers of HPBOSE 12th Class Exam 2020. Various board exams of Class 12 were canceled by the state government owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the following lockdown. Under this situation, the Himachal Pradesh government came up with an idea of announcing the HPBOSE 12th Results 2020 for 4 subjects instead of 5 key subjects. To overcome this challenge, the HPBOSE came up with an alternative formula for marking scheme that will help the Board arrive at the marks for 5th Subject for HPBOSE Class 12 Results. According to the reports, the HP Board plans to take into consideration theory marks for the fifth elective subject in proportion with the highest marks received on the previous four exams. On similar lines, the practical and internal marks for the fifth subject will be awarded on the basis of the marks awarded by the school.

HP Board Class 12 Results 2020 online: Where and How to check

As HP Board decided to declare the HPBOSE Results for Class 12 students amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the HP Board 12th results data will be published only online and will be available to the students first. Students who appeared for the HPBOSE 12th Board Exams 2020 can check their 12th board results online following the steps given below:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. hpbose.org 
  • Step 2: Find and click on the link for HP Board 12thResult 2020
  • Step 3: Enter exam roll number and other required details as mentioned on HPBOSE 12th Admit Card 2020
  • Step 4: Verify the details and click on Submit
  • Step 5: HPBOSE 12thResult scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  • Step 6: Download the scorecard for future reference in PDF format

Students must note that the results available online are for informational purposes only. Students are advised to collect HPBOSE 12th Results 2020 original marksheet from their respective schools for all future purposes.

Meanwhile, HPBOSE declared the 10th board results i.e. HP Board 10th results 2020 on June 9, 2020. Tanu Kumar bagged 1st rank in Himachal Pradesh 10th Board results 2020 scoring 98.71%. This year, the overall pass percentage of HPBOSE 10th Board Exam 2020 is 68.11%. Out of the total 104323 students, 70571 passed the exam.
