ISRO YUVIKA Programme 2025: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) registration window is now closed for the Young Scientist Programme, YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA). This initiative is aimed at providing young students with an introduction to the latest trends in space science and technology, encouraging them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
ISRO YUVIKA Programme: Important Dates
The selection for YUVIKA 2025 will be based on various criteria to ensure the most deserving candidates are chosen. The first selection list will be released on April 7, and selected candidates will be required to report to the respective ISRO centres by May 19, or the date communicated to them via their registered email addresses.

ISRO YUVIKA Programme: Empowering Future Space Scientists
The ISRO YUVIKA programme, scheduled for 2025, is designed to foster scientific curiosity and innovation among school students, particularly in the field of space exploration. ISRO YUVIKA 2025 Eligibility Criteria and Parameters
Eligibility for the programme is open to students currently studying in Class 9. The selection process is comprehensive and includes the following parameters:
- Marks obtained in Class 8 exam: 50%
- Performance in the online quiz: 10%
- Participation in science fairs (school, district, state, or above level in the last 3 years): 2/5/10%
- Rank in Olympiads or equivalent (1 to 3 rank in School/District/State & above level in the last 3 years): 2/4/5%
- Winners of sports competitions (1 to 3 rank in School/District/State & above level in the last 3 years): 2/4/5%
- Membership in Scout and Guides / NCC / NSS in the last 3 years: 5%
- Studying in a Village/Rural School located in the Panchayat area: 15%
