After multiple postponements, the JAC Class 10, 12 exams 2021 have been cancelled due to COVID-19.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has decided to cancel the JAC 12th exams as well as JAC Class 10 examinations. The examinations were earlier postponed multiple times due to COVID-19. But now, following the suit of other state boards, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced the cancellation of JAC Board exams 2021 in light of the second wave of COVID-19.  "Today, in view of the circumstances arising out of Covid-19 and the demand of students and parents, I have decided to cancel the Class 10th and 12 board examination to be conducted by Jharkhand Examination Council for this session,” he tweeted.

JAC Class 10, 12 examinations were scheduled from May 4 to May 21, 2021.

The state board has, however, not announced anything on the evaluation criteria based on which the JAC 10th Result and JAC 12th Result 2021 will be prepared. It is expected that a decision on the same will be taken soon. Students must keep an eye on the official JAC website for the same. The same will also be updated here as soon as it is released.

Earlier this month, the JAC had said that the examinations had not been cancelled and the cancellation notice going viral on social media platforms was fake. "

On June 1, CBSE exams 2021 were cancelled after PM Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting.
