Students who are unhappy with their JAC 10th Results 2020 can apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets on or before August 28.
JAC 10th Results 2020 Scrutiny: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has begun the application process for JAC 10th Results 2020 scrutiny. Students who are not happy with Jharkhand Class 10th Result 2020 can apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets on or before August 28. The Council had announced the JAC 10th Results 2020 on July 8, 2020. The pass percentage of boys stood at 75.88 per cent while the pass percentage of girls is 74.25 per cent. A total of 2.88 lakh (2,88,928) students cleared the secondary exam successfully out of 3.85 lakh (3,85,144) students appeared. Students can apply for scrutiny on the official website of the Board i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
In order to apply for Jharkhand Class 10 result scrutiny, students will first be required to register and generate login credentials. To complete the application process, students will be required to pay a scrutiny fee of Rs 300. The fee is to be paid online. Students must note that they can apply for scrutiny of a maximum of three papers. During the scrutiny process, the Board will re-check whether the evaluation of the answer sheet has been done correctly or not. If there is an error in counting marks, or marks were not awarded for attempted answers, it will be done during the scrutiny. Questions, for which mark was awarded earlier will not be considered for re-evaluation, the board said.
Therefore, candidates who failed in the JAC 10th exam 2020 will be required to sit for this year’s compartment or next year’s annual exams in order to qualify for higher education, the board said. The application forms for scrutiny are to be submitted online, on or before the last date. The board will not accept any application form sent offline (via post) or after the deadline.
JAC 10th Result 2020 Scrutiny: How to Register
- Go to the official website of the Board i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in or click here for a direct link
- Click on the Online Application for Scrutiny
- You will be redirected to the registration window
- Enter your Roll Code & Roll Number mentioned on your JAC 10th Admit Card 2020
- Check entered details and click on the “VERIFY” tab
- Now, Enter a valid mobile number, e-mail address, Click on the “SEND OTP” tab
- Enter verification code (OTP) as received by you
- Click on the Verify & Submit
- Upon successful registration, a confirmation screen opens up marking the completion of the registration process and an SMS and an email is also sent to your mobile number and email id.
JAC 10th Results 2020: How to fill the application form
- Go to the official website of the Board and click on Online Application for Scrutiny
- Enter your roll number, roll code and registered mobile number
- Your JAC 10th Results 2020 Marksheet will be displayed on the screen
- Select the subjects you want to get the scrutiny process done and pay the fees online
- Details of your payment and status of scrutiny will be displayed
- In order to download a copy of your application, click on the link appearing in column “Scrutiny Application Cum Payment Receipt'
JAC Result 2020: Error In Marksheet
Candidates can also apply for correction in their JAC 10th Result mark sheets or scored.
“Candidates with error in their JAC 10th mark sheet, such as invalid, withheld, incomplete, absent, can apply for correction through the principal by attaching self-attested photocopies of their registration slip, admit card and mark sheet along with the application form,” an official statement said.
The last date to apply for correction in the mark sheet at the council’s office is August 28. For this, candidates will not be required to submit application fees, the board said.
