CM Hemant Soren expressed the significance of the consecration of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and emphasized the importance of allowing people the opportunity to participate in this historic event.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has issued instructions to the Chief Secretary, directing the closure of government offices until 2:30 pm and declaring a full-day holiday for government schools today, as Pran Pratistha ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Temple will be held today.

The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language issued a notification on Sunday, confirming the holiday declaration under the NI Act for all offices, establishments, and public banks in Jharkhand until 2:30 pm on Monday, 22nd January.

In his directive, CM Hemant Soren expressed the significance of the consecration of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and emphasized the importance of allowing people the opportunity to participate in this historic event. "The decision to grant a holiday is aimed at enabling citizens, including school children and government employees, to partake in the celebrations surrounding the consecration of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram," reads Government circular.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has instructed the Chief Secretary to declare a holiday in the state regarding the consecration of Lord Ram on January 22, 2024 in Ayodhya. He has asked to keep all government offices closed till 2:30 pm and has directed to keep government schools closed. Preparations are being made to celebrate this special occasion in the entire country and abroad including Jharkhand. On one hand, religious rituals will be held in temples in the state, while houses will also be decorated. Preparations are being made to make Jharkhand Rammay. The streets and neighborhoods are resonating with Ramdhun. The atmosphere has become completely religious. Celebrations are being seen everywhere regarding the consecration of the life of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. There is a lot of enthusiasm about this in every section. In such a situation, by granting holiday, Hemant Soren government has given an opportunity to school children as well as government employees to witness this moment. 

Preparations are in full swing across Jharkhand to mark this special occasion, with religious rituals planned in temples and decorations adorning houses. The resonance of Ramdhun can be heard in the streets and neighborhoods, creating a deeply religious atmosphere. The decision to declare a holiday reflects the enthusiasm and reverence felt by every section of society for this significant moment in the cultural and religious history of India.
