JMI announces class XII (Regular) Board Examination Results

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has declared the result of Class XII (Regular)- Science, Arts and Commerce streams today. The result is available online at http://jmicoe.in.

Out of the total students assessed in all the three streams, 52.35% were boys and 47.65% were girls. 

JMI Vice Chancellor Prof Akhter has congratulated the successful students and said that those who missed securing top positions by a few numbers should not be disheartened and work hard for the competitions and challenges ahead in life.

She wished the students a bright future and appreciated the efforts of the Registrar, JMI Prof. Nazim Husain Jafri, Deans & other faculty members who worked for the smooth conduct of the exam, staff members of the Controller of Examination Office for timely declaration of results.

Streamwise JMI Board results

In the Science stream, Mohammad Qadir Nawab topped the examination with 95% marks. Rashid Zaman secured the second position with 93.6% marks and Sidra Bukhari got the third position with 93.4 % marks.

In the Arts stream, Zulekha Akhtar secured the first rank with 96.8% marks. Sheikh Waris Ahmed Azad got the second position by securing 95.2% marks and Kulsoom Fatama secured the third position with 94.8 % marks.

In the Commerce stream Hana, Iffat Jahan and Arham Khan secured first, second and third positions respectively. Hana got 94.6 %, Iffat Jahan secured 92.8 % and Arham Khan got 91.8% of the marks. 

In the Science stream, 99.79% of students cleared the exam while in the Arts stream total pass percentage was 97.46%. In the Commerce stream, a total of 98.24% of students cleared the examination.

In Science and Arts stream girls outshine boys in passing the exam. In the Science stream, 168 male and 170 female candidates secured first division with distinction while a total of 151 students including boys and girls got simple first division. In the Arts stream, 96 male and 128 female students secured first division with distinction while 114 students secured simple first division. In the Commerce stream 66 male and 34 female students secured first division with distinction while 68 students secured simple first division.
