Karnataka 2nd PUC Supplementary exams 2020 has begun today, i.e. September 7, 2020. The exams will be conducted in two shifts.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Supplementary exams 2020: The Department of Pre-University Education (PUE) has begun the Karnataka 2nd PUC supplementary exams 2020 today, i.e. September 7, 2020. The exams will be conducted in two shifts for students who could not clear Karnataka 2nd PUC Exams 2020 in one attempt. The morning shift will begin at 10:15 am and end at 1:30 pm, while the second shift will begin at 2:15 pm and end at 5:30 pm. The exams once cleared will help students to take admission in the Under Graduate courses.
The Board gave an option to all those students who failed in one or two subjects to appear for supplementary exams, to save their academic year. For all the latest updates students are advised to check the official website, i.e. pue.kar.nic.in.
More than 2 lakh candidates are appearing in the exams conducted at about 305 exam centres in the state. The exams will end on September 19, 2020. This year the 2,12,652 candidates are appearing for the supplementary exams. Of these 1, 29, 975 candidates are male and 82,677 are female candidates.
The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, (KSRTC) has also announced earlier that it will be providing free travel to students appearing in Pre-University Certificate, PUC 2nd-year supplementary exams 2020. The candidates will be allowed to travel free of cost on State transport corporation buses between their residence and exam centres. To avail, the facility, students will have to produce their admit cards or hall tickets, said the notice released by KSRTC.
