The General Education Department, Kerala has decided to postpone the Higher Secondary and Vocational Practical examinations in the state amid rising COVID19 cases in the state.
The Kerala Board 12th theory examinations and vocational higher secondary examinations concluded on April 26, 2021. The class 12 practical exams were scheduled to begin from April 28 which have now been postponed by the board due to the rise in the pandemic situation caused by COVID19. The revised dates of the Kerala Board HS practical examinations will be announced by the board officials soon.
The General Education Department stated that the Kerala Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary theory exams will conclude today and the class 12 practical exams were scheduled to begin from April 28, 2021. Due to the increasing COVID19 cases in the state, the department has however decided to postpone the practical exams for the students. The revised dates of the postponed Kerala board 12th practical exams will be announced by the board official soon.
With increasing COVID19 cases in India, CBSE, ICSE and many other state education departments have decided to cancelling or postponing class 10 and board examinations. The final decisions for cancelling the class 10 examinations have been made by a few of the boards while the others are still contemplating a decision. The results for the Class 10th exams that have been cancelled will be calculated on the basis of internal assessments.
