Maharashtra RTE Admission 2025: The Maharashtra Education Department is set to announce the selection list for the 25% Right to Education (RTE) admission today, February 14, 2025. This announcement follows the lottery draw conducted on February 10, and parents of selected children must complete the admission process between February 14 and February 28, 2025. 

How to check Maharashtra RTE Admission Result 2025?

To check the Maharashtra RTE admission results, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to student.maharashtra.gov.in.
2. Navigate to RTE Admissions Section: Find the relevant section for the RTE admission results.
3. Enter Your Details: Input your application number, date of birth, or other required details.
4. View the Result: The result will display your allotted seat status.

Parents can also expect SMS notifications regarding the results on their registered mobile numbers over the next four to five days.

Admission Process for Selected Students

RTE Admission Details and Quota for 2025-26

Across Pune district, a total of 61,687 applications were received for 18,507 seats in 960 schools. On a state level, 3,05,161 students applied for RTE admissions.

Following the announcement of the lottery results, verification committees have been set up under the Group Education Officers and Administrative Officers. These committees will carry out an initial review of the documents submitted by parents. If the documents are verified, the student's admission will be recorded online, and a provisional allotment letter will be issued.

The final admission will be confirmed only after the successful completion of document verification. Parents must attend the verification process within the given timeframe. If parents are unable to attend, they will be given two additional chances for verification.

Important Guidelines for Parents

• False Information: Any admission obtained through false information will be canceled at any stage.
• No Admission After Deadline: No admissions will be allowed after the February 28 deadline, even if vacancies exist. Parents are advised to ensure timely submission of required documents to avoid missing the deadline.
• Regular Portal Check: While SMS updates will be sent, the education department encourages parents to regularly check the RTE portal for the latest updates regarding the admission process.
