Students who will be appearing for MBOSE HSSLC exam can now change the examination center for Mathematics subject and can appear from their respective districts.

The students appearing for the Meghalaya class 12 exam, can now change their examination centre for Mathematics subject only and can appear for the same from their respective districts.

The Meghalaya government has said that candidates can appear for only Mathematics subject exam from their respective districts, and not other remaining Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination.

Earlier, the Board had said in an official notification that "As per Education Department’s directive and keeping in mind the interest of the students, it is notified for information of all concerned that the candidates who are scheduled to write their remaining HSSLC Examinations on the June 8, 9 and 10, 2020 are hereby allowed to write their examination in their respective District Head Quarter."

However, later the Board clarified that "The earlier notification is applicable for Mathematics subject only. Candidates opting for other subjects/or have other subjects in combination with Mathematics shall appear from their respective centres only."
