School Closing Update: Due to severe cold wave conditions and dense fog across Noida, District Administration has ordered to close schools from nursery to class 8th for safety and well being of students. As per instructions by District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar, all schools in Noida will be closed until January 15, 2026. The order applies to educational institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, IB, Uttar Pradesh Board and all other recognised boards.
All school management and heads of institutions have been directed to follow this order. Important guidelines have also been released for parents and guardians. Any violation of these directives will cause action under relevant rules. Officials informed that this decision has been taken keeping student safety in mind and will remain in force until January 15, 2026, unless revised further by the administration
The decision has been taken keeping in mind health issues to young children due to extremely low temperatures and reduced visibility in morning hours. The District Administration emphasised that safety of students is more important in this weather conditions.
