According to BSE President Ramshis Hazra, the first day of the exams went off well in all the centres except a few incidents. The class 10 board exams in Odisha will continue for around 15 days.
According to Examiner Controller Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, strict instructions had been issued to make sure that apart from the centre superintendent, nobody carries a mobile phone inside an examination centre. For the last few years, the paper leak has become a critical problem for every state board exam as well as central board of secondary education (CBSE). Every board is working to come out with a solution to the problem.
