This year, a total of 26,610 students registered for Class 10 exams and 27,205 students registered for Class 12 board examinations.
Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has postponed the TBSE 10th, 12th board exams 2021 due to rising COVID19 pandemic situation. The board official mentions that the matriculation and senior secondary exams of TBSE have been 'postponed till further notice'.
The state government had earlier cancelled the school, college and university examinations too.
According to TBSE President Dr Bhabatosh Saha, “With rising COVID19 situation throughout the country including our state and taking the safety of students into account, we have decided to postpone TBSE Class 12 and 10 board examinations that were scheduled to begin from May 18 and 19.” He added that the examination committee proposed to hold the examinations when the situation is favourable and that students will be provided with two weeks’ notice.

Students appearing for the board exams must download the previous years’ question papers and practice answering them for better preparation of the exams. They must read the TBSE preparation tips for Class 10th, 12th to score well. The links to the sample papers and prep tips are provided below.

All the classes and examinations in all educational institutions in the state have been suspended for an indefinite period of time due to the pandemic.
Last year, the board had postponed examinations of Class 10 and 12 twice last to the pandemic.
