Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has RELEASED the TN HSC Result 2021 date and time. The TN 12th result will be out on July 19, 2021 at 11 am. Students can check the result on the websites tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in using roll number and date of birth.
The TN Class 12 result 2021 can also be accessed via app and SMS facility. The result mentions student’s name, roll number along with the marks scored in different subjects.
How to check Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2021 @tnresults.nic.in?
Students can check TN 12th result 2021 by following the given steps:
- Visit the TN Board's official website or Click here
- Click on TN HSC result 2021. A login window of result will open on the screen
- Enter registration number followed by the date of birth in appropriate fields. (Note: enter date of birth in this format: dd/mm/yyyy)
- Submit details
- The result will open on the screen. Check the details carefully
- Take a printout or screenshot and keep it safe for further reference

Steps to check Tamilnadu Board Results 2021 using App
Students can download 'Tamilnadu Board Result 2021, SSLC & HSC Result' app onto their smartphones from Google Playstore to check their TN HSC Result 2021 using App. They are required to click on Tamilnadu 12th Result 2021, enter the roll number and other details needed and submit. The Class 12th Results will open up on the screen.
How to check TN HSC Result 2021 via SMS
To check the result via SMS, students need to enter their registration number and date of birth in the format of DD / MM / YYYY as shown below:
“TNBOARD12REGNO,DATE OF BIRTH” and send it to 09282232585 or +919282232585
This year the Tamil Nadu 12th examination were cancelled by the state government due to rise in COVID19 cases across the country. Tamil Nadu CM had announced the evaluation criteria to prepare TN HSC Result 2021. The evaluation criteria was prepared by a 10 member committee.
As per the evaluation criteria, 50 percent weightage will be given to class 10 board exam marks (average of three subjects with high marks) while 20 percent (written in each subject) weightage will be accorded to Plus One board exam and 30 percent will be given to Class 12 practicals and internal assessment. Students who have failed in Class 11 exams will be given 35 percent marks.
The Board will conduct physical exams for those students who feel they have obtained less marks through the evaluation criteria. The marks they score in the examinations so conducted will be termed final. The time table for the same will be announced soon after the declaration of results.
