Tamil Nadu board announced the re-exam date for pending TN 12th Board Exams 2020. These exams got postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country.

According to the reports, Tamil Nadu Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan announced that the TN Plus Two Results 2020 would release only after the conduction of the pending Tamil Nadu HSC Board Exams 2020. The minister expressed that the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, planning to conduct TN 12^th Board Exams 2020 that got postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by the nationwide lockdown imposed in order to contain the virus. Now, the date for the pending TN 12^th Board Exams is finally announced. The TN Board decided to conduct the re-exam for Tamil Nadu 12^TH Board students on July 27, 2020.

Tamil Nadu HSC Results 2020 Date

While commenting on the release date of the TN 12^th Results 2020, Tamil Nadu Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan said, “34,482 students did not attend the TN 12^th exam which was scheduled on March 24 owing to the lockdown. Of these, 718 students have submitted letters expressing their willingness to write the exam. The CM will announce the dates of the exam for these students today evening. The results will be declared four days after conducting this exam.”

As the date for pending TN HSC Board Exam 2020 is July 27, students can expect the result by July 31, 2020, which is exactly “four days after the conduction of TN HSC pending exam”

According to Tamilnadu 12th Time Table 2020, the TN 12^th Board Exams were scheduled between March 2 and March 24, 2020. The last exam of subjects Chemistry, Accountancy, and Geography, which was scheduled for March 24 got postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The examination was rescheduled for June 4 but got cancelled due to the rising COVID-19 cases. After the cancellation, the board decided to mark students on the basis of internal assessment for the cancelled paper. However, now, the board is again planning to conduct the pending TN HSC Board Exam 2020 on July 27.

Earlier, the state education minister KA Sengottaiyan also said that the TN 12th result 2020 answer sheet evaluation is almost complete and TN Higher Secondary results will be released in the first week of July. However, now it appears that TN 12^th students need to wait a little longer for the 12^th Board Results and begin their preparations for the pending board exam. Students waiting for the 12^th Board Results must know that Tamil Nadu 12th result will be available on official websites, tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in. The TN 12^th results will also be available on various third party websites as well. Candidates, however, are advised to verify their results from an official source for authentication.

This year, Tamil Nadu 12^th Results 2020 delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, TN Plus Two results were announced on April 19. Last year, according to the12^th board result Tamil Nadu stats, 91.3 per cent students qualified for higher education.

• Visit the TN Board's official website at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in
• Click on TN HSC result 2020. A login window of result will open on the screen
• Enter registration number followed by the date of birth in appropriate fields. (Note: enter date of birth in this format: dd/mm/yyyy)
• Click on ‘Get marks’
• The result will open on the screen. Check the details carefully
• Take a printout or screenshot and keep it safe for further reference
