Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has announced the exam schedule for 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Class 10 (Madhyamik) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) exams will begin on February 25, and Feb 26, 2026, respectively.
As per reports, this year more than 50,000 students will participate in the statewide examination. Of this around 33,000 students will appear for Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination, while around 18,000 candidates are registered for the Madhyamik (Class 10) exam.
TBSE has structured theory papers to be conducted in a single shift from morning to noon around 12 PM, across all centres.
In addition to theory exams, practical examinations for Class 12 students have been scheduled earlier in the academic calendar, to be held in January, 2026. This early arrangement allows students ample time to prepare for the main written tests.
