Uttar Pradesh government has reopened Dashmottar Chhatravriti Yojana (Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme) for academic year 2024-25. Chhatravriti scheme has been reopened to provide students another opportunity to apply for financial help.
According to a post by Information and Public Relations Department, Post Matric Scholarship scheme has been reintroduced for students belonging to all categories pursuing higher education in various colleges and universities in UP.
The announcement shared on X reads: “दशमोत्तर छात्रवृत्ति योजना 2024-25 के अध्ययनरत समस्त वर्गों के छात्रों हेतु पुन: अवसर… आवेदन के लिए आधार कार्ड, तहसील द्वारा निर्गत आय प्रमाण पत्र (पिता के नाम का), हाईस्कूल प्रमाण पत्र, जाति प्रमाण पत्र, निवास प्रमाण पत्र, गत वर्ष का परीक्षाफल आवश्यक होगा।”
The notice states that students applying under scheme will have to upload important documents, such as Aadhaar card, an income certificate issued by tehsil in their father’s name, high school certificate, caste certificate, residence proof, and previous year’s marksheet.
The decision to reopen is to ensure that eligible students, especially from financially weaker backgrounds, do not miss out on benefits under Dashmottar Chhatravriti Yojana. UP govt has urged applicants to complete their submissions within prescribed time on official scholarship portal.
