The West Bengal Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination dates 2021 are expected to be announced in the first week of June 2021. Many suggestions have been sought to conduct the WBBSE as well as WBCHSE examinations 2021.
Reportedly, the Madhyamik Board has proposed that instead of cancelling the Class 10, 12 exams, they should be conducted when the situation gets better. The second option is to curtail the elaborate schedule and take the exam on reduced marks. The third suggestion is to send question papers online so that students can take the exam from home.
As per the statement from an official, “We are ready to take a decision as chief minister Mamata Banerjee is being regularly updated about the evolving situation. The president of both West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education have submitted their proposal."
Earlier, the state board had scheduled the WB Madhyamik exams 2021 between June 1 and 10. While, as per the revised West Bengal HS routine 2021, WBCHSE exams 2021 were to be conducted from June 15 to July 3, 2021. Thereafter, the state government and the education department postponed the WB Madhyamik and WB Uccha Madhyamik examinations until further notice in view of the rising COVID cases in the state.
