WB HS Results 2020 to be DECLARED TOMORROW! West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the WBCHSE Result 2020 on its official website on July 17, 2020. According to the reports, the WB HS Results 2020 will be declared by 3:30 pm in the afternoon. Students can check their West Bengal Higher Secondary Results 2020 through the official websites i.e. wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in. Media reports also suggest that the WBCHSE Result 2020 will be announced for Science, Arts and Commerce streams. Students will be able to check their WB 12th Result 2020 using their roll number and date of birth as mentioned on their WBCHSE admit card 2020. Students must note that the WB 12th Results 2020 released online would be provisional in nature. They are advised to collect the original mark sheet from their schools for all future purposes.
According to WBCHSE Date Sheet 2020, the WB HS Board exams were scheduled to be conducted from March 13 to March 27. However, the examinations got postponed due to the novel coronavirus. The Board rescheduled the pending WBCHSE Exams 2020 on July 2, 6 and, 8 but cancelled the same late on in the view of the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.
WBCHSE Results 2020: Assessment Scheme for cancelled exams
In order to release WB HS Results 2020, the Council will assess the cancelled exams on the basis of the marks obtained in WB HS Board Exams that were already conducted. In this case, the highest marks obtained in a certain paper will be taken into consideration for the cancelled papers. Students who will not be satisfied with the marks obtained in cancelled papers can appeal to the Council and appear for the optional exams that will be conducted once the normalcy is restored. The Council will announce the schedule for these optional exams later. Last year, the West Bengal Class 12 Result 2020 was declared on May 27, 2019. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 86.92%. Meanwhile, The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared the WB Madhyamik Result 2020 on Monday i.e. July 13, 2020, recording a passing percentage of 91.07. Aritra Pal topped this yearβs Madhyamik examination with 694 marks.
