BIPP, Indian School of Business launches two online courses in collaboration with CBC

The two online courses launched namely: Evidence in Public Policy and Insights from Data for Policy are authored by Professor Ashwini Chhatre and are aimed at strengthening the expertise in public policy of senior government functionaries.

Indian School of Business (ISB) in association with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) has collaborated to launch two online courses on the iGOT platform under the Mission Karmayogi initiative.  Hemang Jani, Secretary, Capacity Building Commission, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India launched the courses along with Himansu Pandey, Program Manager, CBC in the presence of Professor Ashwini Chhatre, Executive Director, Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB.

The two online courses launched namely: Evidence in Public Policy and Insights from Data for Policy are authored by Professor Ashwini Chhatre and are aimed at strengthening the expertise in public policy of senior government functionaries.

Speaking at the launch, Hemang Jani, Secretary, Capacity Building Commission, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, said, “We are pleased to launch these two courses on public policy in collaboration with the Bharti Institute of Public Policy as the understanding of Data and Evidence is essential for policymakers. I am sure these courses will be beneficial for all policy practitioners.”

Professor Ashwini Chhatre, Executive Director, Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB said, “These courses intend to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public policies with the goal of improving its outcomes for citizens.”

In the future, Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB, also plans to launch public policy courses of both long and short durations mapping various competencies to provide an in-depth understanding of the vast public policy domain to government officials through the iGOT platform.
