IIM Bodh Gaya Director Vinita S.Sahay gets second term

Professor Vinita S.Sahay, who took charge as the founder director of IIM Bodh Gaya in February 2018, has been once again appointed as the B-school director by the board of governors for a second term. She is the second woman in India appointed by the government of India to head an IIM.

The incumbent director of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya Professor Vinita Singh Sahay has been appointed as the director of the B-school by the board of governors for a second term.

"Prof. Vinita Singh Sahay has been appointed as the Director by the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya for a second term. The entire IIM Bodh Gaya fraternity heartily congratulates Prof. Sahay!," reads a tweet by IIM Bodh Gaya.

“I truly appreciate the board's enduring confidence and trust in me. My sincere gratitude to the ministry of education, the government of India and the government of Bihar for their invaluable support since the inception of the institution. The support of the astute board, comprising members of eminence, has been a constant source of encouragement, inspiration, and strength. This support has led the institute to carve out a distinct place for itself, with several firsts to its credit," she said, as reported by TOI.

Her academic qualifications include PhD (Customer Value) CSJM University, Kanpur, M.A. (Economics) First Class First (Gold Medallist) CSJM University, Kanpur, PGDBA (Marketing) First Class. She received Business School Affair & Dewang Mehta B-School Award for Best Teacher in Marketing Management for the year 2011 and won the ‘Gold Medal’ for being Topper in M.A (Economics) in the University.
