IIM Bodh Gaya hosted the second edition of ArPan
Following the huge success of ArPan 1.0, which was held last year, ArPan 2.0 came across as a better and upgraded version of the event.
Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya along with its Alumni Relations Committee successfully conducted the second edition of its panel discussion series ‘ArPan 2.0’ on August 28, 2021. ArPan stands for ‘Alumni Relations Panel’ and translates to ‘dedication’ or ‘offering’ in Hindi. After last year’s 100% placement season at IIM Bodh Gaya, such programs are conducted to enhance the new student's perspective of the corporate world. Talking about ArPan, an alumnus defines that an institute’s brand and success, and this dedication is rightfully represented by the word ArPan itself.
Following the huge success of ArPan 1.0, which was held last year, ArPan 2.0 came across as a better and upgraded version of the event. Alumni’s expertise and experience enlightened the audience. The panel was joined by some of the brightest alumni of IIM Bodh Gaya. The discussion panel included Anchit Kumar (PGP 04), Business Analyst, CRISIL; Akshay Kireet (PGP 03), Business Analyst, Newgen Softwares; Vinay Kaushik (PGP 04), Assistant Manager, Jyothy Labs; Kunal Bhadra (PGP 04), Project Manager, Dropshop Network; Ashish Singh (PGP 04), Senior Business Analyst, Tech Mahindra. A warm welcome and gratitude towards the panel and the students was shown by Dr Vinita Sahay, Director, IIM Bodh Gaya. Congratulating the alumni, the director asked them to share their insightful journey and their valuable experiences from the industry. The panelists also conducted a conducive discussion on the topic “Navigating the two years in a B-school to be Industry ready”. They talked about the relevance of the pedagogy in the industry, emphasising on the importance of being thorough with the fundamental ideas and communication skills.
The panemists also talked about the pressure faced in corporate sector, the work life balance which is needed to be maintained, rigour and flexibility the students should keep to grab opportunities. They also encouraged the new batch to enjoy their college life and follow positive attitude towards life.
