IIM Indore signs memorandum of understanding with AIGGPA
The objective of this MoU will be valid for the next five years. The partnership will foster collaboration and assist professionals, scholars and government in matters relating to public policy, governance, administration and related areas.
The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM), Indore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Atal Bihari Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA), Bhopal. The collaboration has taken place to share expertise in preparing policy documents on public policy, administration and collaborate on research and training programs. The MoU has been signed to encourage the participation of serving and retired civil servants in research. It will also facilitate research to focus on the enhancement of public policies, governance, and administration.

The partnership will foster collaboration and assist professionals, scholars and government in matters relating to public policy, governance, administration and related areas. The MoU will also include conducting collaborative programmes in the form of lectures, seminars, workshops, panel discussions, symposia, webinars, training programmes, and publication of these literary events proceedings.
Professor Himanshu Rai, director, IIM Indore said, “We plan to prepare background papers, compendiums, policy documents on topical issues related to public policy, administration and government and submit them to the government for policy formulation.”
The collaboration also investigates ways of identifying and inviting serving and retired civil servants, academicians, researchers, faculty members, and other competent persons from the other institution. ‘We would encourage them to participate in ongoing research or development of programmes of mutual interest’, said Professor Rai.
The MoU was signed by Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, and GV Rashmi, Chief Executive Officer, AIGGPA, on February 19, 2022, in the presence of Professor Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice Chairman, AIGGPA. Professor Saumya Ranjan Dash, Dean-Programmes; Professor Pritam Ranjan, Dean-Research and Professor Sneha Thapliyal, Faculty, IIM Indore, along with Lokesh Sharma, Additional Chief Executive Officer; Dr Suprava Patnaik, Principal Advisor; Rahul Chaudhari, Principal Advisor; Jalaja Saji, Advisor and Gaurav Agarwal, Advisor from AIGGPA were present on the occasion.
