IIM Jammu, IE University, Spain collaborates for academic, research exchange

IIM Jammu, IE University, Spain collaborates for academic, research exchange

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has inked an agreement with IE University, Spain to reinforce the global footprint and advance excellence in teaching and research at the institute. The agreement was signed by Professor B S Sahay, director, IIM Jammu and Maria-Eugenia Marin, vice-provost, global academic partnerships and alliances, IE University.

Commenting on the agreement, María-Eugenia Marín reiterated that the collaboration between IE University and IIM Jammu is firmly grounded on a common vision of the role of higher education institutions in developing global leaders equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset, a holistic perspective of the world and an understanding of the importance of a life-long learning journey.

The partnership between the two organisations aims to foster advancement in teaching and cultural understanding, as well as the international reputations of both institutions through the exchange of postgraduate students faculty members and academic information and materials; the organization of joint corporate training programmes, joint research programs, joint conferences executive education programmes and other academic exchanges that both institutes agree to.
