IIM Ranchi to train model school head masters
The management institute will impart leadership training to the headmasters of the model schools across the state. In the first phase of this training programme, headmasters of 80 model schools will be trained at the campus of IIM Ranchi.
The Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi has announced its decision to train the headmasters of the model schools for the next three years. The IIM has signed an agreement, i.e. an MoU with the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) to support the state government in establishing 405 Adarsh Vidyalaya (model school) across the state.
IIM Ranchi to impart leadership training to headmasters
According to the agreement signed by the b-school and the state government, under this MoU, the management institute will impart leadership training to the headmasters of the model schools across the state. In the first phase of this training programme, headmasters of 80 model schools will be trained at the campus of IIM Ranchi.
IIM to measure the effectiveness of the training programme.
To train the headmasters in the best way possible, an impact assessment will also be conducted by the institute to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programme.
Talking about the commencement of the training programme for the headmasters of the model school, Deepak Kumar Srivastava, the director of IIM, Ranchi, said, “This collaboration with the government of Jharkhand is further evidence of our philosophy of global excellence with locally-focused responsiveness. We are not only preparing our students to be industry-ready, but also contributing to society and the nation’s development. We will continue working hard to give back to the society.”
