Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education. With this, the institute has marked its place among top management institutes across the globe.  Professor Dheeraj Sharma, Director IIM Rohtak said that accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education.

Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-caliber programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation. IIM Rohtak received AMBA accreditation for its flagship Post Graduate Program. The program is a two-year, fully residential programme encompassing cross–functional knowledge and a mandatory summer internship for all participants. It reflects the ethos set by AMBA in terms of its rigorous curriculum and teaching standards. Located within the National Capital Region (NCR) of India, IIM Rohtak, has been a pioneer in terms of setting new benchmarks on management education in India and aims to build the leaders of tomorrow, he added.

IIM Rohtak recently welcomed the new batch of students for its Post-Graduate Program on July 9. A total of 351 students enrolled for IIM Rohtak’s 3-day program. According to the institute, the batch was inducted by several prominent people, who accompanied Professor Dheeraj Sharma, the director of IIM Rohtak, and gave the new batch tips and guidance about life and the future.

Out of the total 351 students, around 210 students are females. Most of the students fall in the age group of 21-25 years and a few of them have a relevant work experience. The new batch comes from a diverse background of Commerce, Economics, Humanities, Management, Engineering, and applied Science backgrounds.
