IIM Rohtak welcomes PGP batch of 351 students

Out of the total 351 students, around 210 students are females. Most of the students fall in the age group of 21-25 years and a few of them also have relevant work experience.

IIM Rohtak PGP Batch: The Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak welcomed the new batch of students for its Post-Graduate Program on Saturday, July 9. A total of 351 students enrolled for IIM Rohtak’s 3-day program. According to the institute, the batch was inducted by several prominent people, who accompanied Professor Dheeraj Sharma, the director of IIM Rohtak, and gave the new batch tips and guidance about life and the future.

On Day 2, discussions about 'Development and Progress in the VUCA world' were scheduled. This day was featured by another set of eminent speakers.

210 female students enrolled under IIM Rohtak PGP

Out of the total 351 students, around 210 students are females. Most of the students fall in the age group of 21-25 years and a few of them also have a relevant work experience.

The new batch comes from a diverse background of Commerce, Economics, Humanities, Management, Engineering, and applied Science backgrounds.

IIM Rohtak Placements 2022

IIM Rohtak concluded the recruitment process with 100 per cent placements this year. According to the institute, the placement process witnessed a 16% increase in the average salary this year. With this recruitment process, IIM Rohtak becomes the first IIM to complete the placements for the batch of 2022. During the placement, the highest domestic CTC offered stood at INR 30 LPA while the average salary rose to INR15.92 LPA.

According to the information provided by the institute, 73 per cent of the students got recruited for the domain of General Management and Consulting. The batch also witnessed a steep increase in the number of PPOs and PPIs offered to the students. Industry’s top companies such as Deloitte, Capgemini, Indus Valley Partners, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, OfBusiness, Yes Bank, Cognizant, AuthBridge, Xiaomi, and Natwest participated in the IIM Rohtak Placements 2022. A total of 40 new recruiters such as Accenture Strategy, Aditya Birla Capital Group, Grasim Industries, Amazon, Arcesium, Hero Motocorp, OYO, Reliance Retail, Schindler, Bharat Serums, and many others took part in the recruitment process of IIM Rohtak.
