IIM-Visakhapatnam signs MoU with Rajasthan government
Under this partnership, both IIM-V and the Department of Information Technology & Communication of the Rajasthan Government will recognize the mutual interests and goals in developing a framework for research collaboration; and finding solutions for larger stakeholders of the societies.
Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) and the Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan, hav signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Under this partnership, both parties will recognize the mutual interests and goals in developing a framework for research collaboration; and finding solutions for larger stakeholders of the societies.
With this MOU, the Centre of excellence: Inter-disciplinary Decision Science & Analytics Lab (IDeAL) at the Indian Institute of Management -Visakhapatnam will collaborate with the Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan to find solutions for, dairy operations, Crop demand, supply forecasting for planning using advanced analytics, crop pest control and management using AI & ML, commodity price forecasting, and agri-commodity supply chain using blockchain technology, according to a spokesman of the IIM-V here.
IIM-V Summer Placements 2023
IIM Visakhapatnam recently concluded summer placements for the MBA 2022-24 batch. IIM Vizag summer placements 2023 recorded the highest stipend of INR 2.5 lakh for the two-month internship. The stipend across the batch averaged at about INR 80,000 (up 38% from the last year). This was the largest batch of 272 students being placed for summer internships at IIMV.
IIM Visakhapatnam witnessed participation by new and existing recruiters spread across industries and domains. The summer placement season recorded the participation of more than 110 companies in the process and making multiple offers. Prominent recruiters that reposed confidence in the IIMV’s talent include Adani Group, Bain & Co., Cognizant, EY, Goldman Sachs, Granules, HSL, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, Invesco, KPMG, Landmark Group, L&T, Latent View, MTR Foods, SBI Capital, Schneider Electric, ServiceNow, StateStreet, TAFE, Tiger Analytics, Ultratech, YES Bank, Wella India, etc.
