CET fee & seat matrix remains unchanged in Karnataka for 2014
If you're taking any of the CETs in Karnataka, it's good news for you. Clearing the air about admissions to professional colleges in the state, the Karnataka government and private colleges signed a consensual agreement on February 21, 2014. And according to the agreement, the fee structure and the seat sharing ratio will remain unchanged for the academic year 2014-15.
Following this, the unaided engineering colleges will be required to give 45% of its seats to the government, and medical colleges 40%. As for the fee is concerned, it would be Rs.38, 090 – Rs. 41,590 for various engineering courses and Rs 46,000 for MBBS courses.

Student Quota:
Aspirants from the Hyderabad-Karnataka region will be entitled to 8% government quota seats in institutions outside Gulbarga, Yadgir, Bellary, Bidar, Raichur and Koppal. While for the colleges located in these six districts, the quota would be 70%.
Moreover, from the upcoming academic year, Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Determination of Fee) Act 2006 will, too, be enforced.
