India France Knowledge Summit 2021 will focus on research and scientific activities. The main objective of this summit is to promote the tools and methods for better structuring the cooperation between the two countries.

Pune University and French Institute will be hosting the third India France Knowledge Summit 2021 from today onwards. The Summit will continue until November 26, 2021. Owing to the COVID-19 restrictions, the summit will be held online mode this year. Earlier, the two editions were conducted in the years 2018 and 2019 at New Delhi and Lyon, respectively. India France Knowledge Summit is a bilateral forum dedicated to scientific and academic cooperation between France and India.

The first edition was conducted during the visit of President Emmanuel Macron to India. On the other hand, the cumulative participants in previous editions were found to be 400. The summit is expected to have a large number of participants as it will be conducted online. This year, a rise in the number of participants is expected as the summit will be held online.

India France Knowledge Summit 2021 will focus on research and scientific activities. The main objective of this summit is to promote the tools and methods for better structuring the cooperation between the two countries and its alignment to the current reforms. The press conference for the summit was held on November 24, 2021. The forum has a series of interactive sessions to discuss aviation, aerospace, smart cities, electric mobility, urban planning and architecture, agriculture and food processing taken between the two countries.

During the press release, one of the officials said, “It is an opportunity for our respective countries to underline the success of our scientific collaboration, to draw some new leads of joint research work and also to discuss and exchange ideas on global challenges; that had to be tackled.”
