It takes an extreme amount of effort to maintain the relevancy of the college even after 100 years, and I am happy to announce that the Delhi University has very well done it.”, he said.
When DU came into existence, there were not even 100 universities in the country. However, today with more than 1000 universities in the country, Delhi University still standing as the best one in the country, is the achievement on its own," he added.
The International Seminar has been organised as part of Delhi University's centenary celebrations. The journey from Swaraj to New India is the topic of the seminar as this is the journey to re-establish our rich social, cultural, spiritual and holistic existential heritage over the centuries and to embody the ideals that once made us a prosperous civilization beyond the realm of imagination.
