BHU Open Book Exam 2021 dates released; Check Banaras Hindu University examination guidelines here

The varsity will be conducting the end semester exams of students of terminal/ intermediate semester/ year in online open book mode. Read further to know more about the examination guidelines.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the BHU Exam dates 2021 for the end semester. The BHU Exam Dates 2021 has been released for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses. The varsity will be conducting the end semester exams of students of terminal/ intermediate semester/ year in online open book mode.

The UG-PG Terminal/ Intermediate semester exams will be conducted from July 10 to August 10, 2021, and PhD. Course work, UG/PG Diploma, Certificate etc exams will be conducted from August 11 to August 14, 2021. However, the scheduled timetable of the end-semester exams for different UG and PG courses will be prepared by the Dean of the Faculty concerned and will be announced by the Controller of Examinations.

The exam will be conducted online open book exam. BHU has also released the BHU open book exams guidelines for the end-term students.

BHU Exams 2021: Examination guidelines

Students who will be appearing for the exams are advised to check the guidelines given below carefully:

• Students are required to log in to the examination portal at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination
• The question paper will be available for download from the student’s portal only
• The answers should be written by students in their own handwriting. Typed responses will not be accepted by the exam conducting authority
• Answers should be handwritten on an A4 size plain paper. Each question must be answered in a maximum of 350 words
• Students have to upload the answer sheet within the total duration of the BHU Open Book Exam 2021.

The BHU Open Book Exam 2021 question paper will consist of eight questions, out of which students will be required to answer any four questions. The question paper will be of total 70 marks. The total duration of the open book examination will be 4 hours 30 minutes. In the examination, students can take the examination remotely (from their home/ any other place) with no restriction on consulting books and other resource materials for writing answers. A PC/ Laptop/ Mobile phone with internet connectivity is required for appearing for the exam.

As per the official notice, the schedule will be made available to the students 15 days before the commencement of the examination.
