Delhi University Semester Exam 2022: Over 300 confidential results released, check details
Delhi University has released over 300 confidential results for all those students who need them on an urgent basis. Under this process, the Delhi University, before officially announcing the results, gives the same to students who need them within a given time for further studies or job application processes.
While speaking about the same, DS Rawat, DU’s dean of examination, said that "the university received around 410 applications for confidential results. Of these, 340 have been issued."
“We received several requests from final semester students for their confidential results as they either need to complete their application process for further studies abroad or for employment. The university has started issuing the same for this year and results are sent to the respective institutions directly,” Rawat said, as reported by TOI.
Earlier, the Delhi High Court had asked the varsity to come up with a mechanism to ensure that in case of emergency, an attested physical mark sheet and transcript can be issued within a stipulated period. In June 2020, the varsity said that in order to streamline the process of issuing confidential results, students can send their requests to their concerned departments or colleges. It must be noted that Delhi University usually takes around three months to complete the evaluation and declare results.
Delhi University conducted the semester exams in offline mode this year after a gap due to COVID-19 pandemic and the results are awaited. He further added that “We will start declaring the results for certain courses over the next few days.”
