DU to conduct workshop on managing stress for its officials
Besides stress management, the officials will be trained on handling financial matters such as budgets and audits, ranking and administrative subjects related to promotions and pension, etc.
Delhi University will be conducting a four-week training programme for its officials on managing stress, developing motivation and acquiring leadership skills. Assistant registrars and administrative officials of the university and its affiliated colleges can take part in the programme that will begin February 21. Besides stress management, the officials will be trained on handling financial matters such as budgets and audits, ranking and administrative subjects related to promotions and pension, etc.
While speaking about the same, a senior University official said, "We will be calling various speakers to apprise the officers of various aspects.... This four-week programme is for upgrading their skills and knowledge and is for Group A officers."
He said the speakers will also talk about handling stress. "During these testing times, we also want to apprise the officers about handling stress. Everyone faces stress be it due to office work or due to issues at home and it is important to talk about how to tackle it."
Meanwhile, Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will be conducting odd semester examinations in the Open Book Examination (OBE) mode, while even semester examinations will be conducted in physical mode. As per the notice issued by DU, the Odd semester examination will be conducted in the month of March and April while the Even semester examination will be conducted in the month of May 2022.
The Delhi University notice reads: “It is hereby informed to all concerned that the University of Delhi on the basis of recommendations of the Working Group for Examinations has decided that all the examinations which shall be conducted during the month of March and April 2022 (Odd Semester Examinations I, III, V, VII) shall be conducted in Open Book Examination (OBE) mode.
