The students must show up for the convocation and pick up their certificates from the regional centres to which they are assigned, not from any other regional centres. Throughout the online registration process, all students are required to enter the current address where they wish to receive their degree, diploma, or certificate.

The student will be required to attend the convocation at other nearby regional centres, which may be mostly in the same state or nearby state, if IGNOU's official website states that the convocation is not held at the regional centre where the student belongs due to any conditions.
